January 2010 — Columbia, SC

After a lengthy period of evaluating solutions from multiple vendors, Hal Wray of Wray Automotive has chosen A3 Communications and the Mitel 5000 IP system to replace the phone system at his Columbia, SC auto dealership. The Mitel 5000 system is fully VoIP ready and is equipped with Enterprise Messaging and OAISYS real-time call recording. All three receptionist consoles run on XP-based PC's. The system will be equipped with approximately 55 IP phones, including the brand new Mitel model 5320 phone with self-labeling programmable keys and duplex speakerphone.

Circor International, Inc designs, manufactures, and supplies valves, related products and services to OEMs, processors, manufacturers, the military, and utilities that rely on fluid-control to accomplish their missions. Their products enable end users to control process fluids safely and efficiently in petrochemical, power-generation, scientific (instrumentation) and industrial (manufacturing) applications.

A3 Communications is installing an Access Control and Surveillance system for Circor Instrumentation Technologies in Spartanburg, SC.

A3 Communications' integraton is allowing Circor to leverage existing investments in network infrastructure, analog cameras, burglar, fire alarm, and phone systems. The enhanced Access Control system integrates products from Axis IP cameras, S2 Security Management System, Milestone Surveillance Systems, and Easy Lobby.


May 2009 — Augusta, GA

Meybohm Realtors is recognized as a trendsetter in the Augusta, GA, North Augusta, SC and Aiken, SC real estate industry. With six strategically placed offices, Meybohm is Augusta's largest realtor. A3 Communications has completed installation of a multi-site Asterisk IP Telephony system for the two Aiken facilities. The system includes approximately 140 IP phones, connected via PRI for local service with a dedicated T1 for interconnectivity. The IT Director at Meybohm, Chris Clark, worked closely with Project Manager Chris Martin from A3 to rollout a flawless transition from their existing system.


February 2009 — Columbia, SC

Established in 1980, SREE Hotels, LLC is a fully integrated hotel ownership, development and operating company. By focusing on strategic and efficient actions, cost controls and product quality, SREE Hotels has continuously built sustainable value from the start. A3 Communications is providing technology solutions for four new hotel projects in South Carolina and North Carolina for SREE. At each hotel, A3 Communications is providing a total communications package, including Mitel IP-based phone system, Cisco Wireless solution, voice and data cabling, network infrastructure, and Axis IP Surveillance cameras.

Two hotels are scheduled for March 2009 openings.

A3 Communications would like to welcome two new Senior System Engineers to the Columbia office! Glen Ross and Joey Davis possess a combined 30+ years of IT expertise and their experience and certifications are an impressive addition to our team. Glen Ross comes to us possessing multiple certifications including CCDA, CCA, Cisco Wireless Specialist, Avvid Unity Voicemail Specialist and MCSE. Joey Davis boasts certifications for CCIE Voice (written passed), CQS – CIPCCES, CCNA, Cisco Wireless specialist, CIPT, CCSE, MCP and Cvoice.


September 2008 — Rock Hill, SC

Rock Hill School District 3 awards A3 Communications district wide video surveillance project.

A3 Communications has been chosen to provide Rock Hill School District 3 with an IP-based video surveillance system for the entire district. Over 300 Axis network cameras for 10 schools are being deployed and integrated into a campus-wide monitoring and recording video network. Milestone recording software and Axis video servers are incorporated in the network design.

The combination of Axis network cameras, Axis video servers, and Milestone Software proves that Rock Hill School District 3 is committed to the safety of their students and staff."

July 2008 — Anderson, SC

Cross Country Home Services is the leader in helping companies drive revenue and customer loyalty through a comprehensive set of home warranties, service plans and homeowner emergency assistance programs. With the help of the skilled team at A3, CCHS is set to add 350 new jobs in South Carolina by opening a new Customer Care Center in Anderson, SC. With over 20 miles of structured wiring installed in the data and call center, the new site will achieve their goal of 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year customer service. A3 Communications also completed installation of Axis IP surveillance cameras and S2 Security access control system with Milestone integraton software to provide state-of-the-art building security for the Cross Country contact center.


June 2008 — Spartanburg, SC

For over 35 years Spartanburg, South Carolina and The Charles Lea Center have worked together to build a supportive community for people with disabilities and special needs where they live, work and play.

At the new Charles Lea Industrial Center (CLIC) on Asheville Highway, A3 Communications has installed innovative and cost-saving technology ranging from structured wiring to advanced IP Telephony. A3 Communications, with project management by Chris Martin of our Greenville office, has successfully migrated Charles Lea's outdated and expensive Centrex services to an A3-IPX Asterisk system with multiple PRI's, along with a Cisco switching, routing, security and wireless infrastructure at two locations. The new converged network is projected to save nearly $40,000 per year in recurring fees for Centrex services for over 180 stations by making the transition to more cost-effective and feature-rich ISDN and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology.


February 2008 — Monroe, NC

Union Power Cooperative is an electric distribution cooperative headquartered in Monroe, North Carolina that provides electricity and energy-related services to over 63,000 members. They are one of the largest and fastest growing cooperatives in North Carolina, adding more than 400 new members each month. A3 Communications goal is to outfit them with the latest in surveillance equipment to allow monitoring of their cable yard and to ensure the security of equipment trucks when entering and exiting the facility. Union Power Coop is taking a proactive approach to deter theft of their transformers, copper and equipment trucks. A3 Communications also installed internal Axis cameras to ensure the safety of employees and monitor traffic throughout the Oakboro, North Carolina office.
